About the role

Design and implement backend services in .NET 8, applying event-driven, distributed patterns (Orleans, Kafka, gRPC).

Take ownership of entire player journeys, including registration, KYC/AML, deposits, wallets, limits, and responsible gaming ensuring we understand each journey’s unique challenges and capture their solutions within our systems.

Collaborate closely with product managers, architects, and integrations teams to translate operator needs into scalable, maintainable systems.

Own features end-to-end: from requirements gathering through design, development, testing, deployment, monitoring, and improvement.

Participate in product trade-off discussions, shaping not just how we build but why.

Raise the engineering bar through mentoring, code reviews, and knowledge sharing.

Debug and resolve issues in production, improving system reliability rather than just patching symptoms.

Continuously improve engineering practices across automation, CI/CD, and observability.

Who we are looking for

We are looking for engineers with curiosity and interest in the experiences they are delivering and the problems they are solving. They want to understand our users' challenges and deliver  solutions, not just code features.

Additionally, the engineers we are looking for:

• Are motivated by the idea of working in a startup, putting on different hats, and helping shape the next generation of iGaming technology.
• Have a track record of delivering robust backend services, preferably in modern .NET technologies.
• Have strong experience with event-driven/distributed systems and messaging platforms, preferably Kafka.
• Have experience in cloud-native environments (AWS, Kubernetes) and microservices architectures.
• Have the ability to design for compliance, resilience, and high transaction throughput.
• Understanding the importance of collaborating with cross-functional teams and explaining complex systems in simple terms.

Experience in the iGaming, crypto, or fintech industry is a strong plus but not required.
