The Role: 

You will be joining as a product builder within a high performing cross-functional team developing the platform.

We are looking for engineers who are genuinely excited about putting AI at the center of their development workflow and who enjoy simplifying complex, distributed systems.

Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Architect & Build: Design and implement backend services in .NET 10, utilizing event-driven and distributed patterns such as Orleans, Kafka, gRPC, and OpenSearch.
• Data Orchestration: Evolve data ingestion pipelines pulling from Kafka topics, CDC streams, and external APIs into a reliable, event-sourced truth layer.
• AI Integration: Seamlessly integrate LLM and agentic capabilities, such as structured extraction and tool-backed agent workflows to reduce friction and unlock new platform features.
• End-to-End Ownership: Lead features from initial requirement gathering through design, development, deployment, and proactive monitoring.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product, operations, and integration teams to translate operator needs into scalable systems.
• Engineering Excellence: Raise the bar through rigorous code reviews, mentorship, and documenting knowledge sharing.
• AI-Native Workflow: Utilize AI coding tools (Claude Code) as a primary pairing partner to accelerate development and improve code quality.

Who We Are Looking For

We value curiosity as much as technical proficiency. We need engineers who want to understand the "why" behind the code and how it impacts the player experience.

• Technical Track Record: Proven experience delivering robust, high-throughput backend services in modern .NET environments.
• Distributed Systems Expert: Comfortable with event-driven architecture, Kafka, and event-sourced patterns. Experience with CDC (Debezium) is a significant advantage.
• Search & Data: Hands-on experience building and querying at scale with OpenSearch or Elasticsearch.
• AI-Forward Mindset: You treat AI tools as a genuine part of your workflow. You have considered how to build LLM-friendly APIs and observable pipelines for AI agents.
• Startup DNA: You are motivated by a fast-paced environment where you can wear multiple hats and influence the product direction.
• Industry Experience: While not required, experience in iGaming, Fintech, or Crypto is highly desirable.
• Data-Driven Architecture: Approach system building as a scientific endeavor, grounding architectural decisions in clear objectives, observable metrics, and empirical data, not intuition alone.
